Introduction
Location: Manyara Region, Simanjiro DC
Beneficiaries: 55,934
Key Activities
- Six development plans in 7 targeted villages for livestock watering;
- Rehabilitation and expansion of 6 water supply systems;
- Hydrogeological survey for the location of potential bore holes and drilling of 6 pilot bore holes;
- Construction of two earth dams and improvement of one earth dam for a total of 55,000 m³ storage capacity;
- Establishment and training of 4 new CBWSOs and setup of management plan;
- Establishment and Start-up support of the Simanjiro WASH Centre.
- Build capacities of CWST members (now RUWASA staff).
